Watching the NationsIsrael

“The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.” Revelation 11:15, KJV
Why we watch Israel

Why Israel is in focus

Scripture calls us to “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem” (Psalm 122:6). That call anchors our prayer for the safety and dignity of all people in the region, including Israelis and Palestinians. We pray for an end to violence, for wise leadership, for justice, and for the Church to bear faithful witness.

For our ministry, Israel is also central to the prophetic story of Scripture. We watch events there prayerfully, while recognizing that interpretations of end-time events differ among Christians. Paul writes that salvation came to the Gentiles “for to provoke them to jealousy” (Romans 11:11; see also 11:14). We pray with humility for God’s mercy and redemptive purpose.

Prayer focus

Peace in Jerusalem; protection of civilians; mercy for those suffering; reconciliation; wise and just decisions; the saving knowledge of Christ.
